I attended the University of Tennessee at Martin from 2004 - 2006 where I was a member of their Div. I soccer team, University Honors program, and a Visual Communications major. In the fall of 2006 I transferred to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where I was the editorial design director of Scoop Magazine for two semesters and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media in 2008. After graduation I completed a six month apprenticeship with Doublejay Creative, a Knoxville-based visual media company, where I furthered my graphic design abilities. Upon the completion of my apprenticeship, I began covering sports & managing the website for a small local paper and later took the job I currently hold managing the Business Incubator and doing graphic design and marketing for the UT Research Foundation. In addition to graphic design, I also enjoy journalism and photography and hope to one day obtain a position that allows me to utilize my entire skill set.
